Toy AussieDoodles

EmmyLou

Congrats to: Stephen in Florida on this Black Bi-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

EmmyLou is perfect in every way. The airport pickup went well and the drive back to Sanibel Island was a good opportunity to begin bonding. She is happy and active. She has adapted completely to her new house and people. I am rather amazed at how relaxed and comfortable she is in her new situation. She has her vet appointment tomorrow. Thank to you and the other folks involved for making such a good experience for us and for EmmyLou. - Steve

Brody

Congrats to: Florence and Aaron in California on this Blue Merle w/White F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Thank you all for all the work you’ve done to help make our Brody finally ours! He is here with us now safe and sound and we cannot be more thrilled about his homecoming. We are all so crazy IN LOVE with this little baby of ours and I know he will fit right in soon enough."

Lexi

Congrats to: Lisa in South Carolina on this Black Tuxedo F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We are home after a 10 hour marathon.  Lexi did wonderful on the drive.  She is a little whiny at the moment but is starting to settle down.  Very clingy but I am trying to wear her out before bedtime.  She is so adorable I can hardly contain myself!"

Stella

Congrats to: Jessica and Seth from GA on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

It’s been almost a week since we've had Miss Stella so I thought I would let everyone know how she was doing. Firstly, her eating has much improved everyone was right she needed about 24 hours to feel comfortable enough to eat and drink normally but she’s been doing really well ever since. She got a perfect report from our vets office. They were smitten with her but she didn’t reciprocate the feeling she was very excited to go home. Potty training has been very interesting I’ve NEVER had a dog that was this smart! She’s only had 3 accidents and honestly I think that they surprised her as much as us. For a puppy her age I consider that to be a raging success! We started really using the potty bells yesterday because we had been working through some fear of walking out the door itself something about it just bothered her but with treats and encouragement I think she’s over it. She has used the potty bells on her own 3 or 4 times now with no real instructions and each time she has actually had to go. We are so amazed by how intelligent she is. My daughter taught her to fetch a ball the second day she was home. It was amazing how fast she understood what she was wanting her to do. I’m sure that either she had done it before or perhaps Willow’s love of fetch just comes naturally to her as well. We are still working on positive associations with the crate, grooming tools, and car rides but she’s making a lot of progress with small doses of exposure and lots of treats. She goes everywhere with us. I’m really hoping that with some restrictions being lifted that they will start offering training classes again soon. If that’s not an option I’ve found a doggy daycare locally that offers one on one sessions that recently reopened. They have great reviews so I’m hoping to start one of those once We get the vets approval. She is a wonderful puppy the whole family just adores her. She’s ruined us for all other dogs I’m afraid 🤣 - Jessica

Okra

Congrats to: Emily and family from Washington, DC on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We picked up Okra one week ago today and he has absolutely stolen our hearts. The pickup process was so smooth and easy, and Okra slept in our laps or calmly watched the road the whole 8-hour drive home. He’s already learned “sit,” “down,” “drop it,” and his name, sleeps in his crate through the night without issue, and has never had an accident in the house. We are still in a bit of shock at what a smart and eager-to-please pup he is! Thank you so much to Morgan and Diane for raising such amazing puppies and to AwesomeDoodle for making sure the whole process was seamless, and for sending all of the helpful training articles and videos. These are such smart dogs!" - Emily

f1b aussiedoodle puppy

Bear, the F1b AussieDoodle puppy

Congrats to: Chad, Allison, & family on this Blue Merle w/ Copper F1b AussieDoodle puppy.

Bear is growing like crazy. We weighed him last week and was 10 lbs 2 oz. He is losing his teeth, excels at sit, touch, wait, and ringing his bells to potty. He mastered the "very scary" stairs in our house last week and loves to come make sure he knows where everyone is at all times. His favorite things are roast chicken, afternoon naps, puppy camp, his giggle ball and herding us on walks. He definitely wins the "most popular" award and he is a common topic of conversation everywhere we take him and he is a star at his puppy class. Given the status of things in the world at the moment, he is VERY happy to have his family at home and we will be moving to virtual puppy training as of this evening. As long as I have chicken, he will pay attention! Here's a current favorite photo. He is stunning and fun!- Allison Bear is a Phantom Blue Merle male F1b AussieDoodle with a white patch on his belly. What a handsome boy! We think he will resemble Taja when he is older, only with more copper.

Pippin

Congrats to: Ali and Caleb in Texas on this Red Tuxedo F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Thank you so much for the email and the links. All this information is so helpful to a first-time dog owner like me! Pippin is doing really well at home! He already understands that going outside in the grass means to go potty right away. When he is finished, he walks over to the back door and sits! He's also doing a great job of not jumping and not biting. He's been taking lots of naps on our cool tile kitchen floor, so we ordered him a cooling mat for his crate. He's been eating and drinking water like a champ."

Blue

Congrats to: Azalea and family from Palmetto Bay, FL on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Thank you so much for all the tips & info.. it has helped so much. We truly appreciate it and AwesomeDoodle is absolutely amazing. I already told the fam “we should think of getting another one” lol Blue is doing amazing, he is growing by the day!! A little out of hand with the barking but thanks to the Facebook group I've gotten great advice that seems to be working. Your pups are amazing..so smart too!"

Teddy

Congrats to: Nanci and Paul on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Teddy has been home now for five days and has settled in really well. He and Hank hit it off right from the start. Teddy was never in to the litter box and since we are home all the time, we went right to house training. He does his business the second we get outside almost every time we go out. He also pees in the house if that’s where we are when the need arises. Of course, he hasn’t peed in his crate or pen. He copies Hank often. If Hank takes a drink of water, Teddy takes a drink of water. I expect that pattern will extend to other behaviors as well in the future. These two doodle pups spend almost all of their time together. Hank is completely smitten with his new little brother. Our Veterinarian appointment went perfectly. There are no issues at all with his health. Teddy sleeps from 11:30 pm to about 6:30 am every day without needing anything. It probably helps that Hank lays next to his crate for a while after he goes in. Unlike Hank, he doesn’t eat much. He loves the roasted chicken bits we use for training. We recognize how lucky we are to have a puppy that received all of the love and care Teddy received from Lois, Mike and their boys. He is a happy, healthy puppy and we love him so much! - Nanci and Paul

blue merle adult aussiedoodle with one blue eye

Blue

Congrats to: Julie and Greg in New Jersey on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Everything is going great so far.  Blue is better than we ever could have imagined. He is the cutest and very smart.  We are loving him so much."

Emma, the Toy Size Blue Merle AussieDoodle Puppy

Congrats to: Peter and Gwen on this Blue Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Emma remains a very positive addition to our family. We have so much fun watching her gleefully carrying branches around the yard, pouncing on passing leaves, proudly bringing back her fetch toy, and running through her tunnel countless ways.  I promise, we are not encouraging her to get excited, but she is just hysterically funny when she has her crazy times – running in circles, grabbing one toy and then the next! I think her record is holding three toys in her mouth while running around the chairs, under the table and jumping on and off the couch! (She is allowed on the couch).  She really makes us laugh; what a little handful of joy she is!  At other times, she is a little lover, giving us little licks as she sits on our laps and cuddles with us on the couch. We couldn’t love her more! She definitely knows her name, plays “go get it,” sits quietly and consistently for treats, comes most of the time when called, is starting to get the idea of “stay,” and even rings the bells sometimes when she wants to go outside!!  We have a friend who has had a lab for almost a year and a half, training him to be a seeing eye dog. Next week, she will drop him off in NY for his final training.  She just loved Emma, and told us that Emma is much further along with her socialization and training than her foster dog was when he was 12 weeks old.  She thought that Emma definitely has the temperament to make a fantastic service dog! Emma loved playing with her and being held by her. Emma is such a good girl with new people, very friendly and gentle with them. We continue to take her various places and she is always very friendly, wagging her whole little behind to greet new friends.  Emma is also very comfortable in her car carrier. She doesn’t make any noise when we put her inside.  She will be starting Puppy Kindergarten this Thursday and I have signed up for a Puppy Playdate group on Saturdays, so she will get used to being around other dogs.  It should be a fun week for her and me!! "   -- Gwen and Peter

Brombie

Congrats to: Jim & Jeri and Family on this Blue Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We have had Brombie less than 24 hours and we are totally amazed at this incredible puppy. Dogs have been a part of our lives for a long time and we have loved each and every one dearly. Brombie clearly is exceptional. We want to thank all the Doodle Crew and especially Jordan for allowing this awesome puppy to be part of our lives. It was obvious from the first moments we interacted with Brombie that he had been raised with love. We are totally impressed with all the professionalism and dedication that is Awesome Doodle. We also appreciate all the support and goodies we received. We will make sure you know all about Brombie's wonderful life." "Just wanted to let you know everything is going great at Sleepy Teepee Ranch. *Vet check on 5/23 with Brombie weighing in at 6.2 pounds. Given 3 day dose for giardia. *Great appetite and solid stools *Gets along great (most of the time) with his brothers, Rocky and Doobie *Learned how to use the doggie door and sits with his brothers for treats. *Night time potty only 1 or 2 times. *Loves his crate and sometimes shares it with his brother Rocky *Lots of car rides and 4-wheeler trips to check cows *Has been exposed to cats, chickens, donkeys, and horses *Seems to love the ranch routine and generally comes when called. *Has had several dog visits *2 Photo Shoots for my Christmas Aussie Doodle Calendar Again, we continue to be thrilled with our little man. Of course he does the silly biting pants, toes, and fingers, but is easily redirected to more appropriate behavior. You all did a wonderful job preparing these puppies for their forever families and preparing the families for their puppies. Thanks again, Jim and Jeri"

Max: the red merle aussiedoodle

Congrats to: Jill and Brad on this Red Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Max is an amazing puppy! He sleeps in his crate all night long just after 2 days of getting him used to it.  He loves running and playing w the kids outside, and he rarely barks just mostly at his reflection in the window. He already sits and waits patiently for treats. He loves his toys and we love watching him jump in his toy basket to find his favorite one. Overall, he's terrific with kids and people. Also, believe it or not, he's had no accidents in his crate or in the house!!! He has peed on his puppy patch a few times if we can't get to the door on time, and we are using the bell which has worked really well."

Daisy

Congrats to: Chad and Bailey in Arizona on this Red Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Overall, Daisy is doing really well! I have already taught her several commands, such as sit, stay, and lay down! She is becoming well socialized, as I am able to bring her to work! We have also been to petsmart, friends' houses, and other stores that allow dogs. She gets along so well with every person and dog she meets."

Nova

Congrats to: Kevin and Lisa from NH for choosing this sweetie! on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Nova is 4 months old! Thanks so much for your support as we transitioned Nova to her new home.  Favorites: We now have a fenced in yard.  Nova loves playing outside and running freely -this  has helped with her puppy energy (crazy time).  One of her favorite this to do is play with her nerf football-- if the toy squeaks she loves it!  She loves playing in the water and now has a DIY water spout for refreshment.  Dislikes:  Nova is not a fan of the nail trimmer and she has been a picker eater.  We did a trail of NomNom-- and plan to switch her off kibble. Socialize: She has play dates with her friend, Charlie Brown  and has met many family members and neighbors.  She travels with us everywhere we go--she loves getting treats from drive thru windows.   SuperSmart: Nova has done well with the basic commands (sit, down, come, leave it, off, stay, bring it).  She loves the DIY step on doggy water faucet. Overall we feel Nova is going great and we are glad that she is part of our family!  Thanks so much awesome doodle family!! --Lisa

Bella

Congrats to: Laura from Mobile, AL on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Mark and I are completely happy with Bella and we love her so much!  She's 10 weeks old. We have a lot of room for her to run safely during crazy time! Yes after several bandaids we learned very quickly to keep a bully bone near by. That makes me wonder did we teach her or did she teach us! Either way it works! Night time routines are getting better all the time . She seems to like her crate. Potty training is going good. She signals us for poop really well but doesn’t do so good for peepee. She has to go across our deck and be carried down the stairs to get to the grass so sometimes we don’t make it. We did get the pan and pine pellets which also helps. -Laura

Obie

Congrats to: Sherrie B and family on this Black Tuxedo F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Gold stars to you and your excellent and thorough work with him and us!! We think he is doing great. He slept in my arms most of the way home. He went to the vet on Saturday (was a little wiped out after that),  and today he visited a dog training facility and we signed him up for a puppy kindergarten obedience class which starts 6/10. The Manager there said he "seems confident" and that we must have found a good breeder. We did! He is just too sweet and loving and is bonding nicely to us. He is not very food motivated, but we have been using clicking to work with him to come and managing his unwanted puppy behaviors with toy distractions. He has been sleeping through the night (with a gazillion stuffed puppy toys, including the duck you sent, which is a huge success). No fuss getting into his crate. He often retreats to the crate on his own to rest. He has learned to climb stairs, but as of yet has not tried going down, so when he gets to the top he barks to come down. It's pretty funny!"

Liberty Faith

Congrats to: Jennifer, Jeff, Will and Katherine from Alpharetta, GA on this Red Bi-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"I know it’s been a while since we reached out but I wanted to reach out and let you know that Faith is doing GREAT! She has captured all of our hearts and is fitting into our family really nicely. We continue to be amazed at how quickly she learns things and adapts to new environments. We’ve started taking her on our occasional weekend trips to the lake and she is already starting to develop fans at the hotel that we always stay in. 😊 We keep her with us all the time except when we need to head to a restaurant for a meal and we put her in her crate in the hotel room with a Kong and she does just great."

Moose

Congrats to: Angie and Morris in Texas on this Black Tuxedo F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Moose is THE most wonderful dog! He is so so tender and loving but w moxie! He plays with muffin - his best friend so well and so much, yet still so much “ my boy”  ... not sure if Maddie has a low pain tolerance , but Moose sure does! It’s cute.  He actually hates going in the pool. I took him a couple times and walked around and he just clung  to me.   I just can’t tell you how endearing he is. I love him absolutely !!" "Moose is following my goldendoodle out the dog door to go potty ! I go and encourage though.  He didn’t cry last night when I put him in kennel to bed and slept all the night again ! Yay!  He’s bonding with us nicely . I take him everywhere it’s ok to - so he’s meeting lots of people . He’s meeting all the neighbor dogs too. That’s going well.  I hold him for that or he stays by my legs. "

Blu

Congrats to: Karin and Davide on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Things are going well. Blu is almost sleeping though the night. Last night from 10pm - 5.45 am. On occasion she does wakes up once to go to outside. It's improved every night up until last night which was amazing. She whimpers in the car when she needs to go to the bathroom. When she is with me down stairs in my office she whimpers to let me know also. When we get ready to go to bed at night she goes into her kennel by herself. She is extremely patient in stores and car. She just sits or lays there. We had a trainer here last Saturday and we got some homework. We are working on: Sit - knows Here - knows, most times Platz - knows Eye contact - knows Down - lay in her bed - working on Kennel - go in her house - most times She is such an awesome dog. She loves running around with us when we are on our property. She hops and runs in the leaves. We are working on her nipping and biting. Sometimes better and sometimes there is no stopping. It's hard when she jumps and bites on my daughters. It's not easy for them to immediately know what to do. I am there to guard." - Karin

Annie

Congrats to: Bev & Willy on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Annie is thriving at a little over 4 months. She weighs in at 15.7 lbs. She and Bear play very well together. She adores him . He puts himself in front of her when meeting dog friends on walks. We are working with a trainer with both as Bear has a few issues, barking mostly, that we don't want to share with Annie. We found a mobile groomer whom she saw briefly after her bath and blowout for a sani trim and eye trim, she wasn't a fan, drama queen, but we are working on it. We adore our new baby and are wrapped around her paw. Snuggling at 530 am after a quick potty run every morning, she usually sleeps through the night in her crate, grudgingly,  but it's all good. All is well, notes and videos SO helpful thank you for all your guidance,  she is a wicked smart handful, but perfection. - Bev and Willy

blue merle sheepadoodle puppy with merle eye patch

Tundra

Congrats to: Kate and Chris from San Bruno, CA on this F1 SheepaDoodle puppy.

"Tundra, just hit 7-months old. She's about 55 lbs, and with how she's been eating the last week she's probably got another growth spurt left in her! She passed Puppy+ training last week, and will be starting Obedience 2 classes at the local Zoom Room. This has helped her focus when there's distractions, and increased her patience. Tundra loves our house guests, neighbours, mailman and anyone she meets at the dog park. If they bend down, she loves to lean in to them and lick their faces, and if they don't she might even try and jump up to lick them. She gets a lot of exercise playing with neighbourhood dogs, and loves to play tug and chase in the backyard (she lets us know which one). She does well at the off-leash dog park too, she goes off and explores on her own but comes back to us as we move along. And she gets along with every dog she meets, and has learned to match their energy/play style. We bath her usually a couple times a week, particularly if it was rainy out and she got a bit muddy or sandy. She's very tolerant of our attempts to DIY groom, we've graduated from trimming her eyes and doing her nails to using clippers to buzz her coat back. She also has gotten to be quite smart, she rings the bells to go outside and she sits in front of the kitchen sink to ask for water. She's also a bit of a watchdog. She likes to sit on the couch and watch out the window and sometimes warn us when people go by. She also does this from our back deck. All in all we love her very much, she's really coming along well as a great dog and we get a ton of compliments on her looks and behaviour!"

Luna

Congrats to: Kathryn on this Black Tri-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

I can't believe the pups are already 4 months old!  Luna's favorite things:  hugs and kisses; hiking (first hike today, and she's already acting like a pro); every single treat she's ever tasted; chewing on my hair (haha); tug of war with Lexi; posing for the camera; and just life in general--she' the happiest puppy. She's definitely a little smarty pants. She's basically completely potty trained--now, rather than me taking her out regularly, she actually asks to go outside by whining at the door; I can't even recall the last time she had an accident.  She has sit, down, look, stay, and come all nailed, including with distractions (so she will sit and stay even when Lexi is running around and out on the trail today). In case you can't tell from my gushing in emails and on the 'gram, I am completely in love with her.  She captured my heart.  It makes me tear up just writing about her because she's just that special to me.  We have a deep and special bond already.  Every single person who has ever met her has commented on how incredible her temperament is.  I've also never seen such an affectionate dog before.  I don't think I'll ever have any dog other than an aussiedoodle (from AwesomeDoodle) for the rest of my life.- Kathryn

Loganberry

Congrats to: Vera in California on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Going great. Loganberry is super smart and quick to pick things up.  Only challenge has been crate during the day - he's not having it.  Feeding him in there and trying some treat puzzles later today.  Potty training is going really well.  He went on the leash for the first time today and did amazingly well right away."

Lennon Red Tri-Color AussieDoodle

Congrats to: Susan T. and family on this Red Tri-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Lennon is amazing! We got home a couple of hours ago. He did great in the car and so far so good at home. He could very easily become a real lap dog but I'm purposely trying not to pick him up too much. Right now he's quietly sitting under the chair I'm sitting on. I know it's still the honeymoon period but he is just so good! He follows me everywhere but I assume that will change as he gets more comfortable with his surroundings."

Ivy

Congrats to: Vicki and Bruce in South Carolina on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

How can we thank you? Our little Ivy is everything you promised and more. All of you have been just amazing. We couldn't love our little awesome doodle more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

apricot cream curly bernedoodle puppy

Blossom

Congrats to: Kelly and family from Normal, Illinois on this Apricot Bi-Color F1b BerneDoodle puppy.

"Introducing Blossom!!! She is even more ADORABLE in person! The smallest of the litter of 14. Beautiful, stunning pup of Mollee x Indy!!! We are in LOVE!! 🥰 Thanks Tammy, Erin, and the rest of the AwesomeDoodle Fam. We are blessed to be a part of this group!!! What a wonderful way to kick off 2021!!!" - Kelly

Mable

Congrats to: Robert and Stephanie in Kentucky on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We’ve been home for about a hour and so far so good.  She’s precious and loves snuggles!"

adult aussiedoodle blue merle with white and copper

Prim

Congrats to: Kana and family from San Mateo, CA on this Blue Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"It’s been 2 weeks since we brought Prim home from IN. Having two AwesomeDoodles is double the cuteness and fun, and (at times) triple the work, but we love having her as part of the family! Prim’s personality is really starting to come out as she gets more comfortable in the house. She is quiet, a little defiant, has a feisty side but is also super sweet & cuddly. She and Rogue (11 months old now) are becoming the best of friends. Their favorite games are chase & wrestling and we're teaching Prim fetch, which she's picking up fairly quickly. The biggest challenge with the two of them is separating them and forcing both of them to take naps throughout the day, because all they want to do is PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! We have taken Prim to a lot of stores, she's met our neighbors, some of our friends & family members & their dogs & horses at the stable where our younger daughter rides; she's done really well in every new environment. She knows how to show calm behavior really well, has mastered sit & knows her name. We're currently working on down, "look at me," and recall. She sleeps in her crate like a champ every night and for the last 5 nights has slept from 10pm to 6am without making a peep. We're still working on potty training during the day, but she's made a lot of progress in the last day. Thank you to the whole AwesomeDoodle team for these two amazing pups! Never did we think that we would go from NO dog to two dogs in one year, but we can't imagine our family without them." - Kana, JM, Anabelle & Sofia

Izzy-Bella

Congrats to: Marilyn and family from Columbia, TN on this Phantom Blue Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We picked up our puppy yesterday. She has had an easy transition to our home. Put her in the kennel last night. Nancy played classical rest music at night, so we played the same thing. Within five minutes, she calmed and went to sleep. Took her to the vet and pet store today. Everyone she meets says she is beautiful. They also comment on how sweet and laidback her personality is. No accidents so far. The only time she didn’t get outside was my fault, so she used the litter box. What an Awesome Doodle. Thank you to everyone who helped us with getting Bella. Even when I was crazy puppy mama-to-be you were very helpful. I want to especially thank Nancy as she did a great job raising these puppies."

Cashew

Congrats to: Lucy and Alex in New York on this Red Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"It crazy how much Cashew has grown — he’s now 13 pounds but packs the punch of a much bigger dog.  What Cashew loves - stuffed animals, goat horns, playing outside in the park, playing with all dogs and saying hi to little humans  What Cashew does not like — baths, alone time anywhere, vacuums, church bells, being held for too long  Socialization - doggy daycare, dog park, play dates with neighborhood pups, taking the subway  Super smart signs — “secretly” takes out goat horn from night crate and will eat it quietly in the hallway instead of bringing it to the living room, knows leave it and drop it like a champ, knows to sit until we give the release word for all meals  Thanks so much for all the advice Courtney! Cashew is growing into a wonderful pup and shows us he learns so well.  We look forward to staying in touch!"

Huckleberry

Congrats to: Betsy and Bobby in Ohio on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Huckleberry is doing great. Everyone who meets him comments on his calm demeanor for a puppy. Yes, we do get the crazy puppy about 3-4 times a day, but my 3.5yr old and I just take him outside and play fetch. He is doing great with his commands – sit, down, come – and with his eye contact."

Danny

Congrats to: Jo and family on this Red Bi-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Danny is the bright spot in my days! Time has gone by so quickly I can’t believe he is 17 weeks old already! What I can believe is how smart he is! Everyone loves him and wants to take him home. There were a few times I was afraid I might have to fight for him! Danny learns so quickly and is used to demonstrate during training classes many more times than any of the other puppies! We are learning sit and down stays, leave it, and leash walking. He is attending a learn and play group 2 days a week and loves it! I miss him so much, but he enjoys going. He also enjoys being at work with me as there is at least 1 other puppy to play with. I enjoy it because puppy crazy time is non-existent when he has another puppy to play with. He is doing great with potty training. I can trust him in the vast majority of the house. The living room is still off limits without me since we don’t spend enough time there yet for him to realize it is not a potty place. He rings his bells both at my daughter’s house and at home. We are on a schedule at work, so he does really well there as well. I am so happy that I chose AwesomeDoodle for my Danny. I can’t imagine and wouldn’t want to imagine life without him. -Jo

phantom bernedoodle after groom with bright copper and white

Beppo

Congrats to: Christine and family from Belfast, ME on this Black Phantom BerneDoodle F1 BerneDoodle puppy.

"Beppo is doing so great. Some of his favorite things: sticks, the first moment when he sees me in the morning, hikes with the family, laying outside on the back deck or in the yard. Dislikes: doesn’t have many! He’s so happy go lucky! He does sometimes barf in the car, but it’s not a big deal. Socializing: Beppo comes with us wherever we go, he’s just part of the family. He is so well adjusted that when we had our fire alarm system go off at 1am, he didn’t bark, howl or act scared. He’s happy to meet other dogs, people, etc. And he finally doesn’t whine in the car! How he’s smart: Beppo is just so intuitive. He knows when he’s done something we aren’t happy about, like chew on the baseboards, and usually comes right over and sits down almost like an apology. That said, he’s almost 100% potty trained, and has had only one accident this week. He likes to be “off leash” in the yard, which he was trying to tell me by carrying his leash in his mouth. At first I thought he was just teething or being obnoxious, but when I let the leash down, he started trotting proudly beside me, head held high. I was curious and walked away from him, turned around, called him to come, and he came flying back to me, leash in mouth, did a lap around me and sat down for a treat. It’s now a game of recall that we play together. He sits, lies down, stays, does look at me, is getting so good at leave it, and we can’t wait to teach him more in his upcoming training classes. We will try to shoot a video of his awesomeness soon! I can’t say thank you enough for this wonderful creature. He has brought such joy to our family!"

Dawson

Congrats to: Laura and Brad in California on this Apricot Bi-Color F1b AussieDoodle puppy.

Dawson, otherwise known as Dawson Doodle, has blossomed into a confident, devoted, loyal, easy going, and playful AussieDoodle. We are a family of 3, yet we all love him so much and he has his own, unique relationship with each of us. When we walk on trails or in town, frequent comments are "how is your puppy so well trained?" and "he is just soooo cute". The most common remark we get from our friends is that he is "the most calm and well mannered puppy they have known." Our family would agree. What has been the most exciting surprise for our family, is how he has acclimated seamlessly to our travel lifestyle! Dawson flew on 18 airplanes and has been to Mexico 3 times by the time he was 12 months. He sees the travel bag or suitcases and appears to get excited and even jumps into his carrier. We keep Dawson active and stimulated daily, which I think has helped tremendously. He sleeps throughout the night. We start the morning off with a 2 mile walk. Mid-day, he then gets play time with a toy or ball or another dog for about an hour. In the afternoons, he either swims in the river, lake, or ocean or we take him on jogs or hikes with us. Otherwise, he is curled up on his dog bed and snoozing or lounging right next to my son playing legos, or following us around the vineyard. Other interesting facts about Dawson Doodle are he is being trained as a therapy dog and comes to work with me 1 day a week in my psychological private practice. Sticking with consistent training has been the best reward for all of us. We use daily interactions with him as opportunity for training - and boy has it paid off! Around 11 months is when Dawson truly 100% of the time followed all the commands, including being able to walk with me off leash for over 2 miles. His blue eyes and steady eye contact melt our heart, his stealing my son's stuffed animals when he thinks we are not watching is hilarious, and his deep loyalty to us remains remarkable. -Laura

Penny

Congrats to: Michelle and Mark from Connecticut on this Black Tri-Color F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

Things are going well.  At 8 weeks, she is 100% using her littler box. She sleeps in her crate at night. She fusses for a few seconds but then she’s quiet all night until we set her free in the morning :)  I ordered one of those grass patches to starting using right outside our back door. We have a several large steps. She’s so tiny that I would like her to just get used to going out the back door and using the grass to do her business.  Training is going well. She does like to follow and jump at anyone that enters the room that she hasn’t seen in an hour. Lol.  I’m working on my husband and son. Clearly it’s them and not her. She’s fine with me.  Ruby's adjusted well. She doesn’t run after the cats or anything. I’ve been telling her to “leave it” when they walk by and she’s been awesome and she even stays quiet. She waits until the cats come to her to sniff and she still remains calm. She’s has been sitting with the cats and waiting her turn for treats. They all sit for food and for treats! Nothings free in this house! - Michelle

Arnie

Congrats to: Ashlynn and Seth on this Red Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Arnie is doing great! He is just so adorable! He's growing like a weed though! He has the occasional accident but has been doing really well with potty training. He hasn't had an accident in his kennel since the first week or two we had him home, which is great! He is such a smart boy! It's crazy how fast he has learned phrases. He is already an expert at "Arnie come" (but you better have a treat when he gets there ha!). He will come over to you and sit down like a good boy! I've even tested him when he's playing in the yard with our other dog and he still comes. I can definitely tell he's teething. Especially just in the last couple days he's started to try to chew on anything he can get his mouth on. He has a few ropes and balls that he loves to chew on so I just redirect his biting to those and it works really well. We start his first puppy class on Saturday and I can't wait to see how he does! I really want to start working with him on loose leash walking because right now he does not like walking on a leash at all. The puppy class will be awesome for him though: burn some energy and make some more pup friends! Thanks again AD for such an amazing pup!" - Ashlynn

Bodhi

Congrats to: Joy on this Black Tuxedo F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Hello my awesome friends at AwesomeDoodle's! Baby Bodhi is growing up. As the new year rolled around, I absolutely could not think of one thing I was more grateful for than this baby. So I wanted to say thank you a and give you an update on this hilarious and extremely photogenic guy. (Ok, I may be biased but look at that face!).  All puppies are a labor of love. That said, of all the dogs I have owned and fostered over the last 20 years, Bodhi is hands down the easiest baby I've ever raised. And the least destructive. Only a few rolls of toilet paper saw untimely demises. Shoes and furniture have so far been made it mostly unscathed. More importantly, he is the the most happy, joy filled dog ever. No matter where we go: the dog park, Lowe's, dog training people stop to comment on either how happy he is and/or how he's the softest/fluffiest dog they've ever touched. Needless to say, I'm a proud doggy mom. He brings so much happiest to me and this world. I'm so grateful to AwesomeDoodles.  My parents (and their 9 month chihuahua/terrier mix who hides from most other dogs and humans) fell in love Bodhi. We lost Lilly, our Aussie/Border Collie mix in November. My parents mentioned over New Year's that they think they are ready for another furry one. So it's quite possible you'll see another application from me soon." - Sincerely grateful, Joy

Kona

Congrats to: Melissa and family from Chapel Hill, NC on this Blue Merle w/White F1b BerneDoodle puppy.

"Kona had his first vet appointment yesterday. He did GREAT! I can't even tell you how amazing, well behaved, and lovable he is... and SO SMART too!!! It's been crazy, and busy, and a bit overwhelming with 3 kids starting back to remote school, both of our remote work starting again in the new year, and the schedule, routine, and puppy needs piled on top- but oh my gosh, it's wonderful to have him to hold, care for and play with. Our family of 5, plus one more with my sister are smitten with him. Even our two cats are curious, although cautious, and the same with him- no aggression or tension so far. He has been doing wonderful at sit, settled lay down, (he spontaneously rolls over- and we simply say "roll over, yes!"), he waits patiently for us to open his crate for permission to exit for potty breaks and play times. He rarely fusses, is great for nap and bedtime in his crate, and has only barked once to get the cats attention. Thank you for everything so far!" - Melissa

Eddie

Congrats to: Kathleen and family from Havertown, PA on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Eddie loves the snow, his big sister and all people he's met. He has a little squirrel stuffed toy he loves to squeak and shake. He loves his crate. He loves my slippers and peanut butter treats. He loves this nylon collapsable tube that he runs through, hides in and chase balls through. It's sold as a cat toy. He loves fetch. He doesn't love being brushed. He doesn't love when mom is out of sight. We continue to work on this. Socializing is mostly through walks in our neighborhood, visiting my husband's brother's family who have a new puppy too. Family visits. Petsmart trips. He is super smart about everything, but potty training has been a challenge. Not him, I'm sure. We need to be more disciplined. Otherwise, training has been easy. We started with "crate", "Eddie" and "sit". It only takes a few practices for him to get it. Now he knows "touch", "down", "stay", "leave it", "off", "drop it"." - Kathleen

Haiku

Congrats to: Adrienne and Per in New York on this Red Merle w/White F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Everything is going well, Haiku is one of the easiest puppies I’ve dealt with."

Luke

Congrats to: Katie and Brad in Missouri on this Red Merle w/ White & Copper F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"We want to thank you guys for preparing us so well for this experience. We were a little nervous as we have a lot going on with 5 kids and now puppy and weren't sure if we had what it takes to shape an awesome aussiedoodle but with your guys help, the process is going better than expected. Luke is such an amazingly sweet little guy and we couldn't be happier. He seems to be adjusting to us very well and there is very little to no whining and crying, which I anticipated hearing more of due to separation anxiety."

"I know every new family says their puppy is the best but I have to say he is! 😊 he is so smart!! He goes into the crate at night on his own and without a treat! And is holding out til around 6/6:30 am if we put him in around 11!"

Juliette (Jules)

Congrats to: Dorothy and family from Aliso Viejo, California on this Phantom Blue Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"Juliette (Jules) is doing so great! She is growing so fast. The vet says that she will be 40+ lbs which is great. We thought she would be around 25-30 due to her small size compared to her litter mates. She is incredibly intelligent and is doing very well with “Sit, Stay, Here, Come, and Leave It” as well as Leash training. We have been reminding her that barking is not allowed. She loves to jump so we are working on reminding her not to jump up on people. She is such a love and snuggler! Please let Natalie know that she is doing great!"

Rae

Congrats to: Diane and family from Queen Creek, Arizona on this Black Phantom F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"After an 18 hr round trip🛫🛬 journey, Rae is home 😃💖 Can’t say enough about Diane and Morgan🙏🏼 Rae is confident, a snuggler, smart as heck and full of vim and vigor (lots of positive energy🤪) Couldn’t ask for for a sweeter puppy and a better experience! Makes the waiting well worth it!!" - Diane

black and white sheepadoodle puppy

Major

Congrats to: Lydia and family from Chagrin Falls, Ohio on this F1 SheepaDoodle puppy.

"Major is legit my best friend. He’s snuggly and playful. He’s convinced his big butt is just a little lap dog and has zero concept of personal space. He lives for treats. Super stubborn and crazy smart. He’s all in when it comes to snow, peanut butter, chicken and sock stealing. Major is without a doubt my favorite child 🤣"

Java

Congrats to: Liby and Alex from College Point, NY on this Phantom Blue Merle F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

At eight weeks: Java has been 100% with her litter box. Had one #2 she got on the side of the box, but overall, she totally understands her box and has since right away. We praise her every time she goes that we see.  She is already in love with her crate, it was almost instantaneous. We introduced her the first afternoon and took a 2 hour nap in it right away. It's her safe space and have worked on closing it during the day and leaving the room. She woke up at 2 am the first 3 nights for potty, but now makes it from 10pm-6am in her crate with no whining. She'll bring different toys in and out of it. She is absolutely dead by 10pm, we have to keep her awake, so putting her to bed is very easy, in-fact she puts herself to bed  We have been working on treat and sit training from day one. it's amazing, she caught on right away. I think the puppy pen as really helped because she will offer her sit when she knows we are leaving. So if she starts going crazy, we leave and she sits, then we praise or offer treats. At this point, if I'm standing, I can say Java, click and she'll sit and look at my eyes. So doing the training is relatively easy. We've introduced to her basically every household appliance, blender, vacuum, hair dryer, etc and not of them have seemed to bother her or even scare her. She's just interested and perks up. She really is super smart and has a big distinct personality and clearly has things she likes and dislikes and knows it. I think she really has got her schedule down now too. Not a peep in the nights. - Alex and Liby

Ollie

Congrats to: Beth and family in Maryland on this Red Merle w/White F1 AussieDoodle puppy.

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ollie. He is a true joy and we all love him to pieces. He is easy going and loving. He is a great to cuddle with and lets me lay my head right on him as a pillow. He is bouncy and always smiling. What a great friend to come home to at the end of a work day. He is also a great hiker and we often go on 5 mile hikes. I can’t imagine our lives without him. Thanks AwesomeDoodle!" - Beth

Derby is Great

Derby is Great is a Boy, Blue Merle puppy.

Derby is Great!  He's a little headstrong,  but we are working on that.  He's almost house trained at only 3 months old - has done excellent - only an occasional accident!
