Winnie is not a just another dog who makes beautiful puppies. She's exceptional, and so are her puppies. No, she probably wouldn't win any blue ribbons in the show ring, but that's not why we make puppies with her. Like every dog you see on our website, she is our family pet. Winnie is the dog that got it all started. We decided to make puppies because of her loving temperament, her agility, and her beautiful smile. She's the dog that got us hooked. Winnie's last litter will be in December of 2017. Her puppies are so desirable, we have people waiting specifically for her pups. Her puppies are known to be some of the smartest and most affectionate dogs we have. Winnie loves to fetch her Frisbee, jump through a hoop, and chase chipmunks. Winnie is demanding with attention and hugs. When you talk to Winnie, she looks you in the eyes, tilts her head and listens. She has never met a stranger and loves everyone, including kids. She knows a variety of tricks and enjoys learning more. She is not a "protective" dog, but will let you know if someone touches the front door knob. Winnie is a [...]
"It’s been one full week with Digby O’Dog and we couldn’t be happier with the way he is coming along. The drive home was fabulous!! Even though it was a 9 hour drive he did GREAT! No mess in the car, slept well, and was just a joy." Digby is a Black Tri-color AussieDoodle. That means he has black, lots of white, and also Copper. Congratulations to Sally and Brad in North Carolina.
Gatsby is a cinnamon merle AussieDoodle, and he is also a "parti". The parti is what gives him so much white. Congratulations to Danielle in Pennsylvania.
Zinnie is a blue merle AwesomeDoodle and her parents are Winnie and Cash, two of our most amazing pets. Winnie is the Australian Shepherd that started it all and we are also excited that Zinnie will carry-on her legacy of producing some of the smartest, most intuitive and affectionate puppies that we’ve seen.
"He's the chillest dog. I think socializing him as much as we did at the beginning made a HUGE difference. And now the biting and jumping and barking stopped he's a dream boat. So loving and sweet. He is a HIT everywhere we go. We get stopped at least 10 times a day no joke. It’s wild. He had his first doggy sleepover this weekend. He’s depressed she’s gone today. And he’s mastered the bells. I honestly Gave up on them and one day he rang it, I was so excited and now it’s every time he needs to go out. It has made my life so much easier." Whitney and Fransisco
"Remy is very honored to be AwesomeDoodle of the Month! He is a pretty great doodle, but I am biased. Here are some Remy updates: Likes -- Sojos puppy treats, of-leash hikes (hikes in general and being off leash in general also..), other Aussies (he has a special bond with them), morning snuggles, belly rubs, the snow and catching snowballs, running with friends or after a ball at the dog park, giving kisses (he is a compulsive licker..), licking the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, learning new tricks (we are currently working on "give me a hug" where he puts his paws on my shoulders and rests his chin on one), jumping on everyone and everything (this is definitely a hard behavior to control, he's like a little spring), chew toys (i give him a chew every evening because it really helps calm him down and get ready for bed!) Dislikes -- leash training (he just wants to run around and be free), the blowdryer (and going to the groomer), the cone of shame, very large men with beards (lots of these here in Alaska), frisbees He currently weighs 39.5 pounds! And he's growing on average 5lb/two weeks. Other things: [...]
Dante is a tri-color beautiful boy AussieDoodle. Look closely, and you will see TINY bits of copper coming out on his cheeks and eye brows. He is the only tri-color Winnie has ever had. Congrats to Katrina and family in California on this striking guy.
Sadie Woo is a blue merle female mini aussiedoodle with TONS of copper all over. WOW, she is amazing. Congrats to Lisa and Richard in Colorado on this sweet girl.
Luli is a "parti" AussieDoodle, with blue merle as well. She also has great face and ear color. What a little angel she is. Can't wait to see how she looks when she gets older. Her coat is going to be gorgeous. Congrats to Barb and family in Washington on this cutie.
"Bentley is AMAZING. He took right to our girls and family. He did not have an accident the entire car ride. Made it home and we took him in the yard and he did his business. He played with us in the yard for a while and relaxed with us for a bit in the evening. Only 1 small accident (and it is my fault bc I took my eyes off him while getting ready to take him out). He is an AMAZING dog and we are lucky to have him in our family. I will be sure to read ALL of these tips and appreciate any advice you may have. The trainer is scheduled to come tomorrow. We are absolutely in love!" Congrats to Justine and Family in Connecticut on this cutie.
Bella is a gorgeous black tuxedo girl. Congrats to Kathy C. and Ken G. in California.
Kona is a high-contrast blue merle female. Congrats to Dell & Leslie and their kids, Avery and Max in Kentucky.
"He is a super good boy! Almost potty trained, sleeps from 10 or 10:30 to 7:00-7:30 without getting up and no accidents in his crate, can sit, stay, come, fetch, drop, and touch! Couldn't ask for a better dog, although he is definitely a puppy! We have spent a ton of time working with him these past three weeks, but it's paying off!" Congrats to Tracy and Phil in Indiana.
"Thunda is doing wonderful! At 12 weeks she's just over 11 lbs and is doing very well with potty training. She sleeps through the night in her crate and can hold it for a max of 4 hours outside the crate. We are so happy with the progress she has made. She's a champion with sit, down, come, and stay. She does really well with loose leash walking, but would much rather run. I took her on a mile walk the other day that turned into mommy getting a running workout. She is also a VERY talkative dog. Makes about 5 different noises and especially barks when she is super excited to see other dogs! We are working on controlling that a bit more, however. I'd like her to be able to do troll her impulses as she gets older so we are focusing on that more now." Thunda is a gorgeous blue merle girl! Congrats to Kyle and Danielle in Massachusetts!
Congrats to Mark M in New York.
Congrats to Kristy M.
"You guys did a terrific job of making the transition from your home to mine as easy as possible! Thanks for being patient with us as we worked the kinks out! It's obvious you have the puppies best interest at heart!" Congrats to Lisa W in Mississippi.
"I can't tell you how wonderful it is to come in the back door, see Beyla snug in her crate and staying there, quiet and content, while I put things away, go to the bathroom, or just have a quiet moment to myself. Then, when I'm ready, I let her out, let her stretch, give her a good rub and then take her outside. It is pure heaven!!! I swear, if she could only do one thing, this is the thing I'd want her to do. As luck would have it, though, she does this and soooo many other wonderful things. It's amazing to see how much she loves to please us. Wow. Wow. Wow!" Congratulations to Karen & Dean
“Made it back to St. Louis! Drive was pretty smooth. 2 potty breaks, no car sickness, and no accidents. After a few challenging nights, last night was much better. Easton has a lot of energy and I think we just weren’t getting him tired enough. We played with him in the backyard to the point of exhaustion and then some – we even just walked in circles around the backyard for a while and he followed us around the whole time. By the time it was bedtime, he went in his crate (somewhat reluctantly), whined for about a minute and then passed out for about 6 hours. Even then he just rustled around a bit then sat quietly waiting for me to get him out. His whining has decreased significantly and we’re just working diligently on getting him to like his crate and getting him very tired. He’s an active little pup so we’re making sure to play with him accordingly! He’s such a sweet, good boy otherwise. Definitely responds well to the clicker and sits and lays calmly, accepting treats gladly when he does! Here’s some pictures of him loving the backyard and all his toys, and hanging out with his dog buddy Nash” Congrats to Lauren and Eitan
Congrats to Susan W.
"The journey we took from the time Winnie was pregnant to the time we picked up Monroe was awesome! We enjoyed watching the puppy cam. We felt so connected to Monroe. It was fun watching the puppies grow and interact. Our daughter has a puppy from Winnie's December 2015 litter. As we watched their Winnie grow we knew this was what we wanted a dog. Monroe knows his name. Has learned to fetch and is becoming comfortable with his collar. He does well with his crate training. Monroe loves attention and has bursts of very high energy. He is so much fun and we are glad he is part of our family!" "Just wanted to let you know that Monroe went to our vet today. He weighed 6lbs.15oz. He is doing great. We are having lots of fun with him. Thanks again for all that you do for these puppies. I will keep in touch and let you know how things are going!" Cindy and Rich After one year: Hi AwesomeDoodle! Just wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Monroe. I can't believe he is a year old! We are having so much fun with him. He loves [...]
"I thought it would be good to send some positive Quinn news! Other than her crazy biting bursts, she has adjusted really well to life in Chicago! EVERYONE loves her- from the pizza delivery guy to our friends and family. She is absolutely adorable. Her training is going well, she already knows her name, watch me, sit, down, follow me, and off (when she jumps on us or the furniture). Training her has been really fun and she learns so quickly!" Congrats to Alexzandra
"She was perfection from beginning to end of trip home. Tolerated plane and auto travel like a pro! She does really well in her carrier, which I use to take her in the car at this point because she is too small for her harness and car seat. She would be content to have me carry her around most of the day... She does her business outside well, squats immediately after I say"go potty". She does love people. Her little tail wags like crazy when she meets someone new. I have taken to calling her my "chocolate cream puff". As I was going upstairs the next day all of the sudden this little puff ball is hopping along side of me like stairs we no big deal. She may be small but she is fast!!. I think she may be an agility dog." "I preferred to pick up my puppy myself and take her home the same day via airplane travel. Tom could not have made it easier! When I let him know of my plan, he told me he would pick me up from the airport and take us back at flight time. He also offered to order the carrier so I would not have to bring it with me. Talk about sweet Aussies, as soon as I got in the car Winnie slathered me with kisses. I spent time with Tom, Winnie, Mini poochie and the other puppies who were waiting to go home. I even got to meet Easton's parents! Travel with Aria could not have gone better. She slept pretty much the whole time through air and car travel like a pro! Petting her behind her ears and talking softly to her as she fell asleep helped her stay relaxed before we boarded the plane. I also offered her small sips of water since it would be a while before she would be able to potty. Really a great experience, Thanks AwesomeDoodle." AnnMarie
Hello AwesomeDoodle fans! We are thrilled to introduce the December 2015 AussieDoodle Spotlight. Little Charley was picked by Courtney and Eric, in Chicago, IL. When Charley was 5-6 weeks old, we had a feeling she was going to be a special dog. She was a little more quiet then the rest of the dogs, and she had a great attention span. Just four months later, little Charley is a star! She's smart, she's adorable and she is one of the sweetest dogs. Here is what Courtney and Eric have to say about Charley. "It’s hard to believe Charley is 5 months old now and a little over 20 pounds! She is so cute, and she knows it. We live in a busy building in downtown Chicago so she definitely gets exposed to a lot of people. She is so used to being loved and adored that she gets quite confused if someone does not shower her with attention. She is very social with people and other dogs. She bangs on the bells, not to let us know when she needs to potty, but to let us know she wants to go downstairs to socialize and play! She is very smart. [...]
Hello Awesome doodlers: Rosie Doodle came into her new home just two weeks ago. I am so grateful for all the help, support, suggestions and love that came in the Rosie package. You helped me out so much to prepare and make this transition as easy as possible. From picking me up at the airport, to providing food and treats (I arrived with only an empty dog carrier and water bowl), to including her smelly blue towel that reminds her of home. She is simply an amazing pup. She rings the door bells to go outside, she sits for treats, she plays fetch and she has charmed our old, grouchy, part-chow rescue dog into being her new best friend. These are all things she learned from being raised by YOU. All this goodness arrived in the little fur ball that I picked up in KY two weeks ago!! She is also willful, crazy smart and requires a LOT of care and attention. I’m so lucky to have the enormous amount of time it takes to actually raise a responsible canine. It’s not unlike having a newborn. We have spent the last two weeks getting a perfect score from the vet, being exposed to lots of new noises and objects (she’s very sound sensitive, we play a lot of different types of music and sounds from youtube like you suggested – brilliant ). She’s enrolled in a puppy class for socialization and we are slowly exploring the environment. Yesterday we spent time splashing in the pool and she didn’t care at all, but a red mop sent her into a barking frenzy. I’m using lots of treats and trying to remember the clicking and keeping commands simple. It’s not easy speaking “dog”. I’ll keep you updated with lots of pictures. The puppy cam and all the communication we had before picking up Rosie was a really huge plus in this process. You guys are amazing and your doodles are awesome as a result. Thanks so much for sharing Rosie with me. She will always be an awesome doodle. Lots of love, Holland
Don, Christy and family, from Orlando Florida hold their new red merle AussieDoodle Puppy, Tilly. What can we say about our experience with AwesomeDoodle to get our puppy Tilly…..AWESOME!! We knew that this was the puppy for us when we saw the care that they took in making sure his puppies were placed in the right home. It truly showed his passion for these little wuppies. After interviewing twice and sitting on the edge of our seats for a couple days we got the news that YES, we will be owners of one of Winnie’s new pups. With having an 8 and a 9 year old, telling them we are getting a puppy and then having to wait 7 weeks was torture, however with the multiple photos sent and the weekly video updates (not to mention the puppy cam) it made the days fly by. Finally it was time! We notified them that we were going to fly up to get her and fly back home within 24 hours. They were so great. They helped us pick the right carrier, explained how the airlines worked with carrying a puppy on board, he even picked us up from the airport. It was awesome and we got to witness true Louisville hospitality. With our plane leaving at 6:00am the next morning, we had planned on coming to the house to pick her up at 4:30, but they volunteered to deliver her bright and early to the airport. What a trooper! Each day is filled with joy having Tilly in our lives. She is (we think) the smartest dog we have ever met. So well behaved and have had a very easy time training her. Can’t imagine what our life was before her. Thanks AWESOMEDOODLE!!!!
"We love our Max! He is smart, loving, FULL of energy and so cute. Max has 2 speeds: 0 or 100. At 11 weeks there is nothing in between. He is doing great on his leash and loves playing in the backyard. He also likes coming to work with me; the staff at my office adore him. He sits and lays down on command, and is getting better at fetch all the time. We can't wait to continue to challenge him and to see what he will learn next. He has an important job in front of him -- bringing love and comfort to hospice patients. Thank you, Awesomedoodle, for giving Max such a great start!"
"Thanks for all the pictures and updates and such you have been amazing through this whole process and we will continue to refer you to all that ask about our Ms Daisy. "
"What can we say? She is the most adorable little thing we have ever seen! Our kids named her after mama (Winnie) since they have similar markings. She is so pretty! She is a very sweet girl and we are so impressed with her! We brought her home on Sunday with a short 2 hour ride to Bloomington Indiana. She sat on our daughter's lap and started to whine about half way home, we stopped, she pottied, and off we went. Wow! She also loves her crate and has been only whining for about 5 minutes at night and then she goes to sleep. We've been getting up about once in the night...it's not bad at all!!! We've been practicing her waiting patiently for treats and we give her an A+. Everyone that has stopped over to see her can't believe she knows how to do this already! We couldn't be more happy with our decision to go with Awesomedoodle. We just want to thank Tom for his love and passion for breeding healthy and happy Aussiedoodles! So impressed with the entire experience! Thank you again and we love our little Winnie. Jennifer and Aaron
We are so thankful to AwesomeDoodle’s Tom for our Charley. From our first phone conversation, we knew that this experience would be different from other breeder options. Tom took the time to interview us, and ensure that we were ready for a puppy, helped us understand the challenges of raising a puppy in an apartment, and shared more about the AussieDoodle breed. We really appreciated that they took the time to make sure all of the puppies were going to loving and prepared homes.
“Successful Arrival after driving 6 hours home. Three Stops, three outside pees. No car sickness or crying at all. She is now in the kitchen, exploring her new domain. All in all, the smoothest trip we could possibly have imagined. Thank you so much. We are thrilled with Bretta. She is going to be a great addition to our family and we promise to keep updates coming. We are quite certain we got an incredible Puppy.”
Derby is Great! He's a little headstrong, but we are working on that. He's almost house trained at only 3 months old - has done excellent - only an occasional accident!
He's 25 lbs now. He is EXTREMELY happy go lucky. Last week we babysat my mother in laws 2 year old Yorkie. This Yorkie is scared of everything and everyone! But he and Cash hit it off great! Cash was very gentle with him. Our dogs eat dinner every night at 7p...if we're 10 minutes late Cash lets us know! And then they have "bone time" and cuddle time. Cash gets up on the couch and snuggles with me til bedtime. We haven't been in a situation where he had needed to show a protective side but the way he follows me everywhere and has become such a "momma's dog". He's doing great with fetch and waiting for his food. The only bad habit we're still trying to break is him jumping up on us when he's excited to see us.
Happy Friday from Pepper Land. My family is in LOVE with our new AussieDoodle Puppy I can't believe what a good first week we've had with our new little AussieDoodle, Pepper. Some sleepless nights, yes, but so much fun. She is just a doll. She is so mellow but when she wants to play, she is a hoot. If I had $5 for every 'Oh my gosh! She is so cute! So fluffy! So sweet!' - I could pay some bills! We think her coat is even showing some charcoal grey in some spots, too. But she's doing really well. Potty - check. Eating - check (working on eating the new grass and any plant/green thing). Miss Personality - check. Now I'll be thrilled when I can report "check" on sleeping through the night but I know that will come. We're easing in to the collar and she really is getting the hang of that, too. She is great with everyone she meets and event went to a pool party with us -- she was the hit of the party and loves to swim. We are so grateful to AwesomeDoodle for their care and love, and the communication all the way. We are thrilled to be part of the Awesome Doodle family.
We fell in love with Minnie the first time we saw her via face time. AwesomeDoodle was so responsive to all or our questions both before and after we committed to taking Minnie home and even after she came to our house. We received so many pictures, videos and updates from him while Minnie was waiting to travel to us. Minnie is just the sweetest puppy and very smart. The early training she got before she come to us was such a great start. She slept really well right from the first night. So easy to potty train. Very playful. Can’t tell you how many comments we get from people stating, “She is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen.”
"We just got home with Murphy 30 minutes ago. He fell asleep on the floorboard with some reassuring petting. When we got home he did his business in the back yard and did some exploring. He is particularly concerned about my whereabouts. Keith conducted a sitting and attending lesson, and Murphy beat out our other dog, Sugar, with flying colors. Life is good. Thanks for Murphy's great start in the world." Keith, holding Murphy. I wonder if Murphy will get to go swimming this summer? Murphy the AussieDoodle sits and waits for a treat. Murphy sits patiently, and waits for a treat.
"Just wanted to send a quick thank you. We are head over heels in love with Wagner. The only problem I have, is that I don't get to spend enough time with him. I wanna quit my job. You need to put a warning on your web site! We are so happy. He is my baby. He doesn't even have to be sitting on the furniture; he is happy sitting at my feet." Congrats to Kim & Family
